Amber Heard told People magazine that the $7,000,000 she received from her divorce settlement with Johnny Depp was donated to charities including the ACLU.
Amber Heard gave her entire $7M settlement from Johnny Depp for charity
Heard, a 30-year-old, stated that money did not play a role in his life. This was as per the divorce settlement and restraining order. He said the money could be donated to charity to assist those who are less fortunate.
She said that $7 million had been donated to the divorcing couples, according to media reports.
Heard made the rounds in the press trumpeting her goodness and claiming to have donated all $7 million of Johnny Depp’s money. “Seven million dollars in total was donated in total. I split it between the ACLU and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles,” she said to a studio audience. “I wanted nothing,” she claimed.
For YEARS Amber Heard used terminally ill children and ACLU for publicity. She claimed she donated 7million dollars to CHLA and ACLU. both organizations now confirmed she did not donate to them that amount. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp pic.twitter.com/qHjT8yYNtx

The problem is that the ACLU was called by Depp to testify in his case against Heard for defamation. Terence Dougherty, a lawyer for the ACLU, said that the money donated by Amber was less than pledged and $500,000 of it came from Elon Musk while $100,000 of it came from Depp. Adding insult to Johnny’s many injuries sustained in his marriage to Heard, that $100,000 of his money went to pay for the very article for which he is now suing Heard. Four ACLU lawyers were involved in the construction of the contested Washington Post op-ed at the heart of this story.

The Wrap reported testimony contrary to Heard’s claims.
Dougherty claimed that Heard paid Depp $350,000 directly and Depp paid $100,000 to Depp’s ex-husband. Heard’s ex-boyfriend Elon Musk sent $500,000 to Dougherty. Depp paid $100,000 to Depp’s ex-husband.

Heard that $3.5million would be donated to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. However, they received only $100,000.
The letter in late June 2019 from the CHLA to Amber Heard stating they have received no more from her pledge of 3.5 million since Johnny Depp paid the initial 100k in 2016 before Amber threw her fit demanding she receive the money. After Amber Heard’s accusations of Depp’s spousal abuse, her career and prospects rose. Dougherty pointed out the ACLU website page listing Heard as an ACLU ambassador. Heard’s accusations against her ex-husband is the only evidence of gender-based violence.
Although cross-examinations have been conducted by the defense, they have yet to present their evidence. The public appears to be in support of #TeamJohnny.

Depp, Depp’s security detail and driver, and Heard’s assistant have all reported Heard’s violent behavior to the LAPD and corroborated it. Depp was also accompanied at the scene by witnesses who said they didn’t witness any injuries to Heard.
